I am seeking publishers for the tabletop designs listed below. All are available for demo and play on Tabletop Simulator. PnP files and playable prototypes are also available to interested publishers upon request.

(If you are not a boardgame publisher, there is nothing here that you can buy or play. But thank you for your interest anyway!)

Portsmouth

2-4 players  |  Ages 10+  |  60 mins

You are the Captain of a newly-built British ship of the line during the Napoleonic Wars. But before you can help defend England, you must use your Recruiting Officer pawn to find and recruit experienced Naval officers of all ranks from the streets of Portsmouth. Be careful—you will also need inexperienced Landsmen to turn into deckhands. Until they are trained, they are worse than useless and may even mutiny!

Officers are represented by cards in the central Portsmouth card array. There is a new, randomly-arranged card array every time you play. Choose on every turn between nearby, inexpensive officers and more attractive but more distant and expensive ones. Every officer comes with both intrinsic victory points, and an opportunity for bonus points.

  • Light-weight strategy game
  • Randomized setup
  • Action points buy officer cards
  • Bonus scoring from card combos
  • No combat, this family-friendly game is only about recruitment!

Tanglewood

3-5 players  |  Ages 12+  |  60-90 mins

It’s campaign season in Tanglewood! The animals will be electing a new mayor, and you have thrown your hat in the ring. You will visit and re-visit the nine regions of the forest, doing your best to influence the voters in your favor and gaining votes as you go. You will woo the influential Rabbit, Bear, and Fox factions, and benefit from their contributions and support. At the end of the campaign, the player with the most votes will be Mayor of Tanglewood Forest!

Every decision offers triple benefits: an increase in your influence in your selected region, a step up one of the three factions tracks, and a special effect that could increase your influence, change the balance of power, or give you more resources for later turns. Secret Ballot cards add suspense and tense choices!

  • Medium-light-weight strategy game
  • Simple rules, quick to learn
  • Area majority scoring makes others' moves important to you
  • Varied strategic paths
  • Gain votes both from immediate moves and from the two major scoring events at mid- and end-game
